Death & Salvation (Magic: The Gathering, 2022)
I wrote Death & Salvation, one of five short stories for Magic: The Gathering’s Dominaria United set, which released in 2022. Dominaria United kicked off a year long celebration of the game’s 30th anniversary and involved the return of a wide variety of the game’s most popular characters. My story, about an immortal goblin questioning his purpose after 300 years of life, was received incredibly well by fans.
I Am Not A Wolf (Andrews McMeel, 2021)
I Am Not A Wolf was my debut novel; an interactive comedy published with Andrews McMeel in May of 2021. It tells the story of a wolf who, feeling out of place in the woods, seeks out a life among humans. The story played with complex themes like loneliness, modern masculinity, and the dehumanization of the American workplace, all while providing enough laughs to be named one of New York Magazine’s Best Comedy Books of 2021. The book has sold thousands of copies and as of 2023 is currently under option to be adapted as an animated series.

Dog Walker’s Notes (Chicago Reader, 2018)
Dog Walker’s Notes was selected for the 2018 Flash Fiction issue of the Chicago Reader. It’s a short, sweet, story about a dog walker who inadvertently stumbles into the personal life of one of his clients, told through the notes he leaves after his walks every day.
